Pure Dairy is a privately held, Australian based dairy company specialising in the sales/marketing of dairy goods manufactured globally. We pride ourselves on our extensive knowledge of global and domestic dairy products, manufacturing systems and world market activity.
With a proven ability to offer dairy buyers and sellers more than just an avenue to trade dairy products, Pure Dairy goes beyond the trade; we are a full service business that has the knowledge and infrastructure to service the demands of global buyers, large or small, well beyond our competitors.
Pure Dairy is segregated into three operational divisions being Wholesale, Retail and Trading. As Trading is the largest division of our business, we remain a business with modest overheads, ensuring we add financial value to our suppliers and buyers with every deal.
The past twelve months has seen our business experience an extraordinary 105% growth. We have grown our team to reinforced business systems and procedures which are paramount to the survival of a business with low margins.

Adrian Josephson is the founder and current Managing Director of Pure Dairy. In this role, Adrian oversees the growing international trade and food service teams. He plays an integral role in new business opportunities, whilst managing strategies and marketing campaigns.
Adrian established Pure Dairy in 2010, following a successful seven years of employment with an international agribusiness, specialising in trade sales within import and export markets. Daily contact with international partners (buyers and sellers) has provided Adrian with invaluable exposure to world markets, cultural differences, commerce trends and selling capabilities in areas such as industrial, food service and trade sales.
Being a passionate leader and a strong believer in the benefits of a ‘hands on’ organisation allows Adrian and the team at Pure Dairy to quickly render the finer details of business whilst providing superior customer service.
Adrian’s goal is to continue to strengthen Pure Dairy’s reputation of honesty and excellence in the industry, through offering world class dairy solutions. Adrian’s educational and work background has seen him gain a broad range of business skills and disciplines that have enabled him to gain a proven track record in successful management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Adrian has a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).
Damian is a senior finance executive with over 20 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Accounting, Financial Planning and Business Strategy/Operations.
Damian’s key strengths are in managing teams, driving change across a variety of functions as well as removing inefficient practices within businesses. In his previous role as General Manager – Operations, Damian was responsible for operational improvement across manufacturing and warehouse and distribution. This role expanded to include commissioning of a new plant and associated machinery requirements, improving machine utilisation by 20%, and the transition to a three shift per day structure, amongst many other varied responsibilities of the role.
Damian brings to Pure Dairy a strong commercial acumen with a dynamic approach to managing finances and communicating value to clients. Additionally, Damian manages Pure Dairy’s comprehensive risk-management and hedging facilities.
Damian obtained his degree in Accounting from Swinburne University. He is a lateral thinker and enjoys solving complex issues overridden with commercial reality.
After spending several years living and working in Japan post University, Lisa returned to Australia and commenced work in the dairy industry, where she was able to utilise her Japanese language skills by sourcing dairy ingredients and translating documents for a Japan-based dairy company. Skills learnt under the tutelage of her early-career Japanese mentors has meant Lisa has a high attention to detail, which is a critical aspect of ensuring she is able to meet expectations and provide a high level of service.
Sixteen years on and Lisa is still passionate about the constantly evolving industry. Throughout her career several doors have opened to allow Lisa to expand her dairy education and experience, working for several large well-regarded dairy trading companies in which she has managed trading activities predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region.
Lisa is tasked with opening up new markets and developing new product lines for our rapidly growing company.
Having grown up on a farm in rural South Australia, Lisa recognises that people are at the core of business and puts emphasis on mutual respect, honesty and relationship management.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Adelaide University, where she majored in Japanese.
Based in the Netherlands, Frank is integral to Pure Dairy’s sales and marketing of European fats, powders and cheese, predominantly into Asia-Pacific but also other key international markets.
Frank has over 15 years of experience in the international commercial dairy business. Having been responsible for a sourcing department of a big global dairy co-op and also having worked for an American dairy company more focused on managing sales and supply chains, he’s very experienced in the total commercial spectrum. His motto is “KIS” (Keep It Simple).
Frank has a Diploma in Hotel Management, a Bachelor in Marketing and has successfully accomplished the highest level of purchasing training in the Netherlands. His main personal interests, other than his family, are sports, cooking and eating.
Gordon’s career with MNC’s and the F&B/ingredient industry spans 16+ years, whilst serving on the US Dairy Export Council’s Board of Directors for 14 years.
Starting his career with Japanese conglomerates (sogo shoshas), he later moved upstream to represent US and Canadian protein fractionation and chilled dairy manufacturers, opening an office in Hong Kong to launch a network of distribution channels throughout Asia-Pacific.
Gordon was born in Hong Kong and moved to Queensland, Australia at an early age. He spent his teenage years in Australia, before moving to the USA to attend college. His studies focused on International Business earning a B.Sc. with special emphasis on China and the Asia-Pacific region.
Having grown up in a household with one parent Chinese and the other Caucasian, Gordon enjoys liaising with the varied clientele and cultures throughout Asia and North America, bringing both sides of the Pacific together with high quality dairy product solutions and enduring, interpersonal business relationships.
Katerina is an Accounts Officer with over 15 years of experience in a number of industries. Her industry experience includes Retail, Not for Profit, Health and Dairy.
Her strong problem solving and interpersonal skills have led her to successfully implement new financial systems and internal processes with minimal impact to all the organisations she has been employed by. Her community service role goes hand in hand with her leadership qualities.
Katerina holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
Katerina enjoys live music across all genres and staying active outdoors.
Wendy brings over 21 years’ experience in the Australian and International Agri-food Industry, with particular expertise in Import/Export as well as Cross-Country Trading.
Wendy was born and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she attended school and Business College before commencing her career in the Merchant Banking field. She immigrated to Australia with her husband and two daughters in April 1993, initially spending two and half years in Sydney, before finally settling in Melbourne.
Wendy’s responsibility is to manage the Logistics side of the business, ensuring prompt and accurate attention to both suppliers’ and customers’ needs and requirements, whilst maintaining the high standards that Pure Dairy delivers and meeting the demands that the fast-paced dairy industry requires.
Wendy likes to spend time at home with family and friends, or taking her three dogs for walks, cooking, gardening and making jewellery.
